Ok, let me be upfront about this. DFI, LLC can lay claim to be the smallest company in Glendale or Peoria, Arizona but with the Internet as our gateway, we also have clients in Japan! It wasn't always this way though. 

Making a long story short, I graduated from Glendale High School in 1963. Joined the Navy that December. Served aboard two ships, the USS Preble, and the USS Mahan and left the service after 7 years as petty officer first class (E6). The last two years of my service, my ship was homeported in Yokosuka, Japan.

Upon leaving service I returned to Japan to enter Sophia University in Tokyo and graduated from there in 1976 with a double degree, one in Far East Studies and the other in Sociology. I took one year study in Graduate School on Japanese Anthropology. 

I setup a company called DataFlow International, Inc. in Japan in 1986 which has been developing and operating servers and websites for companies there since 1993.

I established DFI, LLC here in the valley in 1998 with the intention of increasing my focus on the US market but circumstances did not allow me to concentrate on that development to a large extent. Nonetheless, I have made a few clients over the years and worked with them quite effectively using Skype and other communication programs. 

My parents declining health has required that I remain here in the valley since March of 2011. Every cloud has its silver lining and one of the linings that has appeared for me is the opportunity to focus more on developing business here.

With cooperation from my present clients, feedback from them and hopefully from you as well, I am working on expanding DFI from a staff of one to many more as our clientele increase. 

While I view my services to my clients as critical to their success, I must admit to the fact that I try to enjoy myself as I do so. I am not out to become one of the 1% or even 10%. I am out to do the best I can and provide the best results possible for my clients.

I am looking for others in the West Valley area that are similarly motivated.
